Lakewood Hall of Fame

Lakewood High School Principal Jay Larner announced the creation of the Lakewood Hall of Fame.
Beginning this school year in the spring of 2017, Lakewood High School will be honoring its inaugural hall of fame class.
The purpose of the Lakewood High School Hall of Fame is “To recognize former students and staff members who have made an exceptional contribution to society, achieved exceptional success, brought honor and prestige to Lakewood High School, and have exhibited such qualities of character and action as to be outstanding role models for our students. It is expected that the achievements of persons selected for the hall of fame will be above and beyond the ordinary.”
“Celebrating the accomplishments of the many students and faculty is an honor,” said Larner. “We look forward to the opportunity to recognize those that demonstrate our core values as Lakewood Vikings.”
Inductees, chosen by a committee composed of staff members, Lakewood Alumni Association board members, student council president and community members will be celebrated at a ceremony in the spring. A permanent display will be created with photos and information on their accomplishments. Hall of fame nomination forms are also available at Lakewood High School. Larner and the Lakewood Alumni Association board encourage staff, families, and community members to submit nominations for this great recognition.
